1. How to download files from rapidshare
A. You do not have a Premium-Account (Not Recommended) (1 free download in 1 hour)
1. Left click on the download link in the message (Rapidshare page appears)
2. Scroll the Site down and click "Free" (a new page opens)
3. Scroll again way down, you see a clock counting down to " 0 " After that the clock disappears and the download link shows up.
4. Click the download link and then click on "save as" (a browser opens)5. Browse to the folder you created to save the file and hit "save"
B. Get a Premium-Account. It doesn't cost much and is truly worth the few bucks it does cost. Non Premium Members have all kinds of restrictions on time and KB limits. It will take you forever to u/l or d/l a movie. Before downloading a movie make sure you create a folder where you want to keep it.
1. Left click on the download link in the message (Rapidshare page appears).
2. Scroll down and click "Premium" (a new page opens)
3. Scroll again way down, you see the download link you wanted.
4. Click the download link and click "save"
Hint: Make sure you include all parts of the files in the same folder.
2. Joining split movies and movie clips
Information: If you download a file and it has an unusual extension like: movie.avi.001, movie. avi.002 and so on, or movie.avi.0, movie.avi.1 and so on you have a split file and you need to rejoin it, before you can watch it.
We use two free software programs.
1. HJSplit (001, 002 etc.- extension) Get it at HJSplit
2. Hacha (0, 1, 2, 3 etc.- extension) this is HACHA in English. Download it at Hacha
To 1: HJ-Split
Step 1: Open HJ-Split 2.2, you see a box with 6 button
Step 2: Click "Join", a new window opens
Step 3: Click "Input File", a Browser-Windows opens
Step 4: Go to the Folder where you have all!!! Parts of your Movie stored. You will see only the Part with the .001 Extension
Double Click on the file with the .001 Extension, the Browser Window Closes.
Step 5: Click Start, now you see the Progress, after the Joining is finished, click "OK"
Step 6: Close HJ-Split, open your Folder with the Stored Files, Now you find there your joined Movie, enjoy.
To 2: Hacha
Step 1: Open Hacha 3.5 click on "Join". Browse to your movie and click on the file that ends in 0 Give it a few min. You will see the progress bar moving until it's completed.
Step 2: Now look for the joined file in you Folder, double-Click and enjoy.
